Besides our main Corporate Initiatives program launched in 2017, we conduct many activities to bridge the “vegan” and “corporate” concepts in unprecedented ways. Our initiatives usually aim towards these goals:
- Help our members network, collaborate, organize and become more effective vegan influencers, and
- Publish stories of powerful vegans and vegan initiatives from the corporate world to help “normalize” veganism in the mainstream.

Member Networking and Discussion Forum
Via our LinkedIn group, we create and nurture a community of influential vegan corporate professionals. We actively search for new vegans in corporate industries, and we promote our group so others can discover and join us. We maintain an internal member directory to help members locate vegan colleagues in their company, industry or location.
Our member-only discussion forum allows members to engage in discussions and stay up-to-date on developments relevant to corporate vegans. We use the forum to announce new projects and updates on a weekly basis.
Content Creation and Publishing
There is still a limited body of knowledge around “corporate vegan” topics. Our group is often the one unique author of this content. We regularly publish articles, guides and featured member interviews, for the benefit of our members as well as general public. We have also engage our member base to produce select opinion pieces and white papers. See our native articles and news site.
Surveys
Our network of 1,400+ members gives us a unique opportunity to survey members around important topics. We conducted a general survey in 2015 to understand the key needs, challenges and motivations of vegans working in a corporate environment (see results). We plan to continue this effort in alignment with our mission. If you have a larger strategic initiative where input from vegan corporate professionals could be valuable, please contact us.
Petitions
While not our focus, in some cases our network of powerful business figures could lend itself to important petitions. Should a strategic opportunity arise, we may engage in a petition to request vegan / plant-based options in corporate cafeterias, airline menus and so on, and possibly select political initiatives. We generally do not formally promote miscellaneous vegan non-profit petitions to our members (although members are able to discuss petitions in our forum). However, if you have a strategic initiative which you believe to be a strong fit for our network, pleaseĀ contact us.
Referrals and Partnerships
There are often opportunities to connect our members with meaningful outside endeavors. We occasionally tap into our network to help organizations find vegan professionals with specific expertise for pro bono or paid projects, such as interviews, speaking opportunities, board positions, consulting engagements and more. In the past we have partnered with Vegan Trade Council, Animal Charity Evaluators and events such as Woodstock Farm Sanctuary’s first Plant-Based Investing Symposium in December 2016. We usually look for opportunities that genuinely benefit our members and not just a third party project. If you have a “win-win” initiative, pleaseĀ contact us.
